New York designer Thomas Paul has an amazing ability to create innovative and affordable home accessories that are always ahead of the curve. Scrimshaw was an art practiced by sailors on whaling ships out at sea. It usually consisted of elaborate whaling scenes incised into the teeth of whales. This set of 4 Scrimshaw coasters looks to recapture the feeling of this art form. Luckily, no whales were harmed in it's manufacture. This set includes four dinner plates, each featuring a different "whaling" image.
